Scusset Beach is a small park with a beach and campground that is separated by a parking lot. Beach is rough sand/rocks with little wake. Accommodations at the campground are with minimal amenities. enjoyed the area except not being able to bring my small dog to the beach.. took him to the canal instead... I DO pick up after my dog and I notice that really MOST people do. Also missed campfire... love that when I camp!

Camped at scusset beach state reservation campground. Tent sites are very small. They were an area carved into bushes, which led to extremely large amount of mosquitos. could not sit and relax in campsite. went to bed early to escape mosquitos and packed up and left early next morning. will not camp here again.

Don't understand why we can not have a campfire. They are allowed in tent sites only but shouldn't be. I believe that's having a campfire is part of a camping experience. Please consider allowing campfires at all sites. Thank You
