It was clean and neat BUT the mattresses were firm and lumpy. Even though ite Motel sat back far enough to be quiet we had a bad night due to the mattresses. We did eat at the restaurant next door and loved our fried Haddock dinner. The price was reasonable and the portion was enough for us.

My husband and I had planned a trip with my parents that got cut short due to Hurricane Irene. We canceled our reservations at another hotel to get back home and ended up spending the night at the Brookside. Very clean and comfortable. We needed 2 rooms at the last minute on a Friday night and just happened to come across the Brookside. It was greeat. We found it comfortable, very clean and all we needed. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There is a great restaurant right next door. We would definitely return if we were in the area.
