My wife and I decided on a whim to spend a few days driving along the Maine coast, and we gave the Snow Squall Bed and Breakfast a try. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Since there was no one else staying there (this was during down season) the owners gave us a free upgrade to a nicer room.... More

Purpose of this trip was to reunite with friends we hadn't seen for awhile. We always bring wine and nibbles to share before going out to dinner. Not only did we have a wonderfully welcoming space ("lounge" as our British host calls it) to sit in, but Paul set it all out for us with necessary implements for serving. Even... More

Two brothers and wives loved our stay at Snow Squall Inn. The breakfasts prepared by Paul and Served by Melanie were delightful. Every need was attended to. We mentioned that we wanted to go to nearest grocery and purchase bananas and next morning bananas appeared. They were so friendly without being intrusive. If you are traveling in this area --do... This is one of the best places I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The whole Inn exudes relaxation! The hosts are wonderful and tremendously friendly and relaxing, incredible as it must take a lot of effort to keep this property in as excellent a shape as it is. We (3 friends during a bycicle tour of mid-coast... More

We spent two nights at this great B&B during our trip along the Main Coast. Paul and Melanie made our stay special. The house is a vintage gem that is well cared for (with the exception of the water pressure - typical in these old homes). The room was comfortable (albeit small) and the bed divine! The breakfast offerings were... More

True, I am picky. Lovely place, great hosts, the breakfast was really out of this world. But the location is not 5 star--noisy road, not a very interesting walk into town. Our group had two rooms, the one in the main house was a bit musty smelling, which went away with the windows open, but then the highway noise was... More

If there were a rating above 5 stars the Snow Squall Inn would deserve it. Paul and Melanie are gracious and made my stay memorable. The food was extraordinarily delicious and presented exquisitely. I was in a party of six photographers for five days and all our needs were met and surpassed. Can't wait to go back, Barbara DeCesare

What a wonderful weekend we had at Snow Squall. All the reviews are true - lovely inn, lovely rooms, great food, and charming and friendly hosts, Paul and Melanie. We can't wait to go back. We've stayed at a number of B&B's and this was by far our best experience ever.

We could not have picked a better place to start our wedding trip and then end it. Paul and his wife were most accomodating. The first night we were exhausted from our flight from Missouri to Boston and then the drive. Paul settled us in and then suggested places to find something to eat. The morning meal was almost too...
