My friend and I enjoyed a girls weekends away. Bay Leaf provided us with wonderful accommodations, gracious hosts, delicious breakfast options and a central location for our coastal getaway. The rooms each have a theme and are clean and spacious.

My friend and I stayed here in October of 2012. We were going to be arriving very late and the office would be closed, but when I called they said they would put a key on the office door for us. When we pulled up, the key was in an envelope with a hand-drawn map to our cottage. So sweet!... More

Just right for 2 people. 1 queen & 1 twin bed, sofa, chair, tv, kitchen with stove, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and a table with 4 chairs. Bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. All... More

We arrived at Bay Tree Cottages not knowing quite what to expect after reading other reviews. However we were made most welcome and were given cottage 10 which we were happy with. However when my husband spoke to Jane about no tv she told us not all cottages had them but we could watch in the main house. Now we... More

We stayed recently for three nights in cabin 2. It was clean and recently renovated and is also handicap accessable. The owner was very pleasant and helpful with local attractions. The bed area was cramped on three sides making it difficult for one of the two of us to get in and out(we did not need accessable accomodations, it was the... My girlfriends and I recently spent a long weekend at the Bayleaf Cottages and loved it! There were four of us staying in the Nutmeg Cottage. It was small but had plenty of room. The owner, Jane was accomodating and advised us of the must sees and dos. Provided great directions too. We enjoyed the local restaurants, sight seeing, shopping... More

Had a great time over the long Labor Day weekend at the Bay Leaf. My husband and I stayed in one of the motel rooms. They may be on the smaller side for people used to a chain hotel room, but we found them to very comfortable and a cozy place to relax, exactly what we expected and wanted. The... More

I just recently stayed here for 10 days and 9 nites. My son started his freshman year at Unity College. We arrived at close to 10pm due to a terrific storm that made driving slower. We phoned ahead informing them that we would be late. They were very accomadating. My son slept on the sofa while I had the bed.... More

I originally chose this location because of the beautiful description that was described on their website and it seemed spacious...the price was a bonus since my time was narrowing down. I had never been to a "cottage" so I'm guessing my expectations may have been a reach. We had the joy of getting cottage 10...apparently it's one of the larger... More

Cottage 10 is tucked in the quiet back forested portion of our property - away from the hussle and bussle of Rt. 1 and thus no waterview. And thus from time to time, spiders will work their way inside. Any issue with them could have been handled by housekeeping/maintenance had you made a request. My apologies for you having to... More

Clean, well maintained cabins, newly renovated. Very friendly staff. Come as Strangers, Leave as Friends is their motto, and it's so true. Great location, across from the water....Free contenential breakfast, including hard boiled eggs, cheeses, breakfast breads, and cereal with fruit.
