The good: The people working there are great, the ski in/ski out location is excellent for skiing/boarding, the hot tubs are nice, the beds and the shower in the room are solid too. They provide a sink, coffee maker and mini fridge in the double queen bed room we had. The beds were excellend and provided a great night of sleep.... More

This was a comfortable hotel...not luxury, but very nice and clean. Breakfast was included and was very good -- many choices and a great omelet chef. Short walk to lifts. Lockers for skis and boards -- which were great. Everything was convenient and restaurants were good and reasonable. One problem: thermostat doesn't seem to work (in any room we were... More

the best skiing around at the mountain, and staying at the hotel makes things so convenient - just a short walk and you are on your skis and at the lift! the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was very nice. With the fridge, microwave, and sink, with all the other needs for a kitchen, we were set. taking... More

The Hotel (as opposed to the Sugarloaf Inn which is down the hill and much older) is very nice. There are a few different type of rooms (two level suites, alcove rooms with one bed, and the typical hotel room with two queen beds). I traveled with my wife for a conference and have done so for each of the... More

Sugarloaf skiing is some of the best in the East. We usually stay with friends which requires a shuttle and/or significant walk to the lift area. The Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel is right at the base. Close parking and complimentary ski lockers make the stay very convenient. The room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable although the bed was not... More

Wonderful location. Wifi reception in the hotel rooms are not good. Good services and friendly front desk. You can purchase lift tickets at the lobby desk. Short walking distance to the first lift. Many shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance.

In September 2012 I stayed at the hotel for a little weekend getaway. I was excited because many of my friends said it was a beautiful hotel. Well I am sad to say it is very rundown and the room we had was horrible! The closet in the room had a hole in the wall....not a small one...but a BIG... More

We have been coming to Sugarloaf for 24 years, and have stayed in many of the condo clusters, the Sugarloaf Inn, and the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel. We find that the hotel can't be beat for a short stay for its location, comfort, and extras. A great buffet breakfast, access to the base area restaurants, and a quick walk to the... More

I just stayed at this property for 4 nights with my 14 year-old. This is our 2nd visit. Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel (SMH) is located just at the base lodge, and offers every amenity you'd need. Each room has a ground-floor ski locker where you can store your gear. We've stayed in 2 types of rooms - this past trip was... More

We have just returned from 4 days of skiing at Sugarloaf. As usual the mountain is fantastic( I have skied in Eastern Canada,Western Canada,Utah,France ,Switzerland, Austria and Italy) The hotel was a big disappointment. Despite clean well equipped rooms and curteous staff, this is a hotel with no soul and very limited services. It appears the owners have turned it... More
