I only stayed for one night owing to my dog having an overnight stay in the local specialist vet centre, but I'll be going again for longer. This is a beautiful house in a picturesque area and Lesley and Robert were the perfect hosts. My room was cosy and spotlessly clean and the bed was the best I have ever... More

CausewayCottage ist a beautiful place. The roomes are really nice und cute :) Lesley and Robert are friendly and very helpful. We got tea at our arrival and every morning Robert suggested where we could drive this day. The breakfast was great, especially the self-made fruit-compott and the plum-sauce. Staying at CausewayCottage was fantastic. :)

This was our first visit and we were bowled over by the warm welcome and the beautiful setting. Robert and Lesley were so accommodating and hospitable. There was such comfort and warmth, our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. The view from the window delightful with birds and rabbits in abundance! Breakfast was excellent with something for every taste and... More

we stopped again on our way to Cornwall for the second time in three years. Yet again we had a very warm welcome from Lesley and Robert. What a charming bedroom with en-suite. And dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and beautifully served. We can't imagine anywhere nicer to stay!

My sister and I stayed at Causeway Cottage in 2006; it was the perfect way to end our stay in England. We were welcomed with tea in the garden, our rooms were cozy, the bathroom was roomy and clean, the food was fantastic. A fantastic get away...planning my next visit!

Picked here to stay almost at random to split a long journey from the North to the South coast. However, we will definately be back. We (myself, wife and our two teenagers) expected the location - just off the M5 motorway - to be on the noisy side, but we could not have been more wrong. Sitting in the garden... More

I stayed here for a night as part of my recent Lands End to John o'Groats cycle ride having also stayed last summer with my wife as a stop over on the way to the Scilly Isles. Both occasions have been excellent: a very friendly welcome, the food is a real treat and the rooms quiet and comfortable. Its location... More

Our first visit was when we chose Causeway Cottage as an overnight break at the halfway point between our home in Shrewsbury & our regular holiday spot in Cornwall. That was 6 years ago and thanks to the warm welcome of Lesley & Robert, the homely ambience and the temptation of the Cordon Bleu suppers, this stop has become, an... More

Last week I attended Lesley's 'Informal Spring Dishes 2012' demonstration which was, as usual, first class. In two and a half hours Lesley managed to demonstrate eight dishes amongst which were proscuitto and hazelnut bread rolls, butternut, feta and sage rolled crepes, limoncello and raspeberry tiramsu (homemade limoncello!) and tartlets au mango. The eleven of us attending thoroughly enjoyed all... More

Our journey West is never complete unless we stay with Lesley & Rob at Causeway Cottage. This Spring we had the added bonus of attending Lesley's Cookery Demonstration, which was first class, well organised, excellent recipes, and a great experience. We already have Lesley's four cookery books and can't wait until the fifth edition is published. As usual our stay... More
