We stayed at the BMI on April 22-24. As other reviewers mentioned the halls are very musty smelling but the rooms are very clean. The rooms are bare minimum with no clock or radio, there aren't even any pictures on the wall. I did find the bed rather lumpy. The air conditioning wasn't turned on yet but when we called... More

My husband and I stayed here from Nov.6 to Nov.9.....again we had a wonderful time...the young man who checked us in was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean...no complaints...The breakfast was also great lots of things to choose from and the 2 ladies that work there are great....the lady that greeted us on Wednesday morning remembered us... We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the continental breakfast as well as the morning host (she was very pleasant). As in previous reviews the beds are uncomfortable and the halls smell of dead cigarette smoke. This property is dated but they have ample space to have all smoking rooms located in one building, which would be a bonus,... More

Have stayed at the bangor motor in for many years. It is deceptive - the rooms look dated with baby blue tubs and toilets - but they are actually all new equipment - just saving money by using a colour that no-on else wants. I agree - it is not bright and flashy like all the chain hotels around it... More

This is an older property though well maintained and obviously in the process of some renovations. It is clean and comfortable but without frills. There might be an occasional maintenance issue arising from the fact that it isn't a new hotel. In my case sticking door recently repainted was dealt with quickly by the management. They provide top customer service at... More

We arrived in Bangor on a Saturday night without reservations and had to take what was available. This is a very basic motel, somewhat overpriced for what you get, but we needed a place to stay. We needed 2 rooms. The rooms were clean and we were able to sleep pretty well. The motel is not new and in need... More

Our stay at this motel was awful. The website said newly renovated but all that was done was they painted the trim and door. The door was stuck to the trim and we had to shove on the door hard to get it to open. The halls smelled and the bed was so uncomfortable we didn't get any sleep. The... More

This was an older property, but clean and reasonable. The bathroom had a "lovely" aqua colored toilet and bathtub. But, it was close to the airport for our early flight ,which was handy. The woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. She even offered to open the breakfast area early. The breakfast was typical, but things were fresh and... More

We stayed at the Bangor Motor Inn July 2, 2012 for the start of our annual summer road trip. My husband and I travelled with our son and his girlfriend. We stopped here just to check pricing and to our surprise found that we could get a two room suite, which was exactly what we were looking for, for a... More

During a visit to Bangor, we ended up needing a place to stay at the last minute due to illness. It was during a long weekend, so we were not sure if any rooms would be available. The BMI had a couple of rooms available. I did not have high expectations. The room was dated, especially the bathroom. It was... More
