My boyfriend and I stayed at Sea Escape Cottages from July 9 to July 13, 2012, and couldn't have asked for a better time. This location is very peaceful and relaxing, and fairly remote. The grounds were well kept, and cottages were well spaced apart. There is no beach, but a nice deck by the water, with steps leading down... More

I adore this place, it's quiet nice & scenic. Family friendly and ready for hikers & beach combers alike!! We have been here twice (this is our third time) and there will be many more to come! Reminder: buy supplies before you get on to the island!

Our family group of 13 (ages not quite 1yo to 50) stayed at Sea Escape Cottages several years ago (prior to limited time of mo/yr selection) and found them to be a welcome, warm, immaculate home-like place to stay, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. If and when we ever return to ME, we will absolutely stay there... More

Stayed in Cottage 4 - an imaculate 2 bedroom cottage, perfectly equipped with everything we may have needed during our stay. Enjoyed relaxing on the porch with the morning coffee and watching the lobstermen checking their traps. In the evening, the Adirondack chairs beckoned for viewing the sunset . . . will definitely return!

This was our first time at Sea Escapes and it won't be our last. I wish I could convey how much we enjoyed our stay. The lawn is beautifully maintained with a gazebo, firepits for every cottage (with a beautiful view) and access to the water. Our stay was very quiet, though I believe most of the cottages were booked.... More

I had never traveled to Maine before, and my friend stumbled upon these cottages. What a wonderful, mom and pop run business. There are so many places to sit and relax. We had an upstairs unit with two bedrooms, slept 4 and WOW what a view from up there. When the fog cleared, it was so incredibly "New England" with... More

This was our 2nd stay at Sea Escape Cottages. We spent a week this time, and well worth it, AGAIN! We love Bethany and her family. They make you feel as though you are right at home. Wood burning on the outdoor fire pit every night, heavenly sunrises (viewed right from bed!) and amazing sunsets! A place to sip your... More

This was my first long vacation in Maine. My husband choose the place and made the reservation, he had stayed here before. He warned me that I may not like it, no AC, not much to do, simple, not fancy, etc., etc. That's okay, it time alone with my husband, nothing else really matters, he's happy, right? This vacation was... More

We owned a cottage resort in Canada for five years and sold it this year so we had summer vacation time! We just stumbled onto Sea Escape, expecting we could only find a motel on short notice but mid-week, there was one cottage open. We were VERY picky on how we ran our resort and Sea Escape is the same.... More

This was the first trip to Maine for my husband & I. I looked at over 30 properties online trying to find the right accommodations. This place turned out to be perfect. It reminded me of a stay at a favorite aunt & uncle's house. Les & Donna and family were wonderful. The other people staying in the cottages became... More
