My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday night to attend a show at the (semi) attached Brown Theater. We were excited about the Brown Hotel because we were aware of its age and decor. The room rate was reasonable and we purchased a couple of eStandby upgrades, specifically a club-level room and discounted valet parking. I was hesitant... More

My wife and I traveled to Louisville (my home town) to spend a night at the Brown on the occasion of our 42d wedding anniversary. Growing up in Louisville, I had been by the hotel many times, but never spent time there (except for a great dinner there a couple of years ago). We expected good service, but not the... More

We spent 1 night at the brown to experience this historic old hotel. It is absolutely  lovely. The architectural features are beautiful. We had a room on the executive  level & were able to take take in the wine and appetizer event in the evening  and the breakfast. Both were very nice with great food choices available. Our room was very... More

This was our third stay at The Brown. We love it's old world charm, the professional and friendly staff and the Lobby Bar. It my look stuffy, but it's more clasic than snobby! Very convienent to night life, restaraunts and concerts at the Palace or Brown Theatre. More

My wife and I took a weekend escape to the Brown. I highly recommend paying a little more and staying on one of their Club Floor. Excellent complementary appetizers, beer, and wine 5-7 and very good breakfast the next morning. The concierge Derrick S. does a fantastic job of seeing to your needs. More

I took my husband here for his 30th birthday. He loves historic places, and this hotel is really amazing. They upgraded us to the Club Floor with complimentary wine and cheese (or beer and snacks) in the evening, and breakfast in the morning. We watched the sun set while we sipped our wine in the private dining area. Our room,... More
