This was our third stay at The Brown. We love it's old world charm, the professional and friendly staff and the Lobby Bar. It my look stuffy, but it's more clasic than snobby! Very convienent to night life, restaraunts and concerts at the Palace or Brown Theatre.

Rooms have very thin walls...we could hear everything in hall & neighbors room! Bathrooms are terribly OUTDATED! Club floor room is nice...food was great! Service outstanding! Rooms are just ok.

My wife and I took a weekend escape to the Brown. I highly recommend paying a little more and staying on one of their Club Floor. Excellent complementary appetizers, beer, and wine 5-7 and very good breakfast the next morning. The concierge Derrick S. does a fantastic job of seeing to your needs.
