Decorah's Main Street is the town's biggest asset and this remodeled hotel is the place to stay. We stayed in a basic room and found it to be perfect in every way. being able to choose a book from the bookshelf in the hall was a nice touch.

No fitness or room center but nice bar in lobby also good restaurant downstairs Rooms are all different and very nice and cofortable and large. Have probably stayed there 30 times and it is my favorite hotel within walking distance of other restaurants bars and shops

Once again we have enjoyed a fabulous weekend at this lovely hotel. I am typing this by the fireplace as I wait for the rest of my party to go into Sunday brunch. This is the one hotel I think of when I plan on a relaxing get away!

This old hotel is beautifully restored and decorated. It's quaint and peaceful with beautiful, comfortable rooms. The staff is excellent and always very friendly.
