The room was very comfortable, however it was dusty and smelled of old cigarette smoke. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual, but I had to wait for a table because the area was very small. Price was a little high for the condition of the room.

The hotel was shabby and appeared dirty. Carpets were dirty throughout the hotel. The breakfast was bland, and not at all hot. The waffle machine was broken. The phones did not work when we checked in. Sheets were threadbare. The only thing going for this hotel is the staff. They all were courteous and friendly.

We paid less than $70 for a King room on the first floor (Room 104) and were very, very happy. Our room was in the front, away from the majority off the other guests and never once did we hear anyone else. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Not bad at all for the price for an older hotel.

When we arrived the key card machine was broke so we got one key for two rooms with four adults very inconvienant. We were bothered about not smoking in rooms when nobody was even smoking. We stopped here on our way through Indiana and were not impressed. The non-smoking rooms were obviously converted smoking rooms. Our King Suite was large, clean and comfortable. Everything worked although the card reader on the rear entrance was a little cranky. The Refrigerator had a small freezer compartment. My husband and I stayed here twice this month on our way to and from a place farther west. The staff was very friendly and that really stood out to me. The rooms were adequate and clean.
