My college girlfriends and I stayed here for a "girls weekend". It was the perfect setting for our annual reunion. We rented all four rooms so had the place to ourselves and it couldn't have been more enjoyable or relaxing. The rooms are very spacious, the beds comfortable and beautifully decorated. Each room had different amenities that made it unique.... More

My friends and I stayed at this B&B for three nights and couldn't have been happier. The owners were welcome and inviting. I enjoyed hearing about the places they had traveled and their suggestions for places we should visit in Columbus. The breakfast, both the setting and the food, was very, very nice. The rooms were beautiful and I enjoyed... More

This was our second stay at the Ruddick-Nugent House. We stayed in Inez's room this trip. The bed was very comfortable, so we were well rested which was important to us. Drinks and snacks are provided in the hallway for one to enjoy. Books, DVDs are also provided. The candlelight breakfast was the highlight of the stay! The diningroom table... More

This large historical property is a bit difficult to find in Columbus. Once there however, the owners are warm, welcoming and accommodating. Narrow stairs to bedrooms. Beds are comfortable and rooms are large. Complimentary movies, soda and water available. Breakfast was very good. For the most part, housekeeping was good although as par with big houses with lots of "stuff"... More

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. It's a great location, a very nice place to stay that has tons of history and Dennis and Joyce do a wonderful job and make the guests feel very comfortable. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Everything was exactly as pictured except even better because fall colors were at peak. Pictures don't do the rooms justice. Everything appears to be kept up very well. The large deck outside our room (Martha's) was a VERY nice setting for enjoying an evening drink or just to relax. They had many antiques, large and small, which I enjoyed looking... More

We stayed for one night in "Willam's Room." We had a lovely time and enjoyed the house and company. Breakfast was delicious! The innkeepers have done a beautiful job restoring the house. Our room included a written biography from a member of the original family--quite interesting to read.

A couple of friends, my husband and I had a most enjoyable one-night stay at the Ruddick-Nugent House in Columbus, Indiana. The house is a lovingly restored historic home on beautiful grounds. We cannot imagine how the owner manages to do all that is required to keep the gardens and the house in such lovely condition. The garden has a... More

My wife and I stayed in "Lizzie's Room" August 27-28, 2011. Dennis and Joyce were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed hearing about their world travels. The accommodations were homey, but had many modern conveniences, and they met our needs perfectly. It was a very nice change from the usual chain hotels. The sit-down breakfast with our hosts and the other... More
