We stayed both ways on our trip to Ely Mn.. Found the Fairfield Inn exceptionally spotless and the staff most helpful. Rooms were more than accomadating. Do yourself a favor and make this a stop if you are passing thru Rockford. Bill

We really had an enjoyable stay at this Fairfield Inn & Suites. This was a simple overnight before our flight the next morning. I found the staff very pleasant and willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The room was clean and the breakfast selection, as always, was decent. I would have no reservations about staying here again.

Turned down bed sheets and what else but dried up bodily fluids. Mgr did offer free night in an upgraded room but we said thanks but no thanks. This is no joke. The hotel itself seemed nice and clean but I guess you can't judge a nook by its cover. Maybe just a fluke but it does freak you out... More

I stay here every other week. Good check-in, comfortable rooms. A little pricey for what you get as the rooms are very basic and small. Free wireless internet is simple and fast. Complimentary breakfast is decent.
