The experience was simply excellent.. The gentlemen who run this shop show consideration for their customers, their product sourcing, and their culinary execution. This level of service does not come cheap, but you have to be aware that one is buying into that. It will be a hard task to find equivalence elsewhere.

This is quite special. A marvellously peaceful Somerset retreat, beautifully decorated in a kind of country-house minimalism (ie country house without the sometimes oppressive clutter), with very good food and high levels of service. I organised a surprise night away for my husbands 80th birthday. Just 4 close friends joined us for an overnight stay and we were all captivated by Peter and Orlando’s wonderful home and gardens. The meal cooked by Orlando was superb and was served with an interesting selection of wines that matched the food beautifully. I would highly recommend it.
