We had an enjoyable stay here, the staff was very friendly, the rooms and facilities were clean. Brenda, who managed the breakfast area, greeted guests and made them feel welcome, even early in the morning! and she was quick to clear the tables and let guests know when hot food woudl be available. This is exactly what you expect at a Holiday Inn Express: clean, friendly service, mid-level rates (about $81 the night I stayed). This one appears to be fairly new. Only (minor) downside is it is about 1.8 miles from town center, but it is right of the freeway. More

While your options in Jacksonville are slim, the Holiday Inn is just an ok option. The hotel walls may as well be paper because you can hear everything going on next door, upstairs, outside, etc. The hotel is very loud!
