Such a good place that we have booked again. Without knowing it last year, it has now become an ideal base for the Balmoral Agricultural Show. Couldn't have found a better place to stay. Clean, tidy and homely.

The Oakfield B&B is more than a place for visitors to stay; it is an incredible cultural experience. Rosalyn and Johnny are incredibly hospitable and made the trip unforgettable. The house(s) are beautiful, clean, and large enough to accommodate for a large group. The authentic meals were delicious and the walls are filled with breathtaking artwork. I would defiantly recommend... More

Rosalyn & Johnny made my stay here simply unforgettable. Beautiful place, wonderful food, and very kind individuals. Also perfect for big groups! I stayed here while traveling with other study abroad student, 19 people total! They were kind and compassionate to each of us and provided a home feeling.

Thanks Rosalyn & Johnny for your amazing hospitality! We stayed with you 3 nights in November and didn't want to leave. Lovely and clean and very peaceful. Nice big rooms and lovely breakfasts! We came in as strangers and left as friends! Rosalyn booked an amazing little pub meal for us that she highly recommended, and it must of been... More

thank you Rosalyn & Johnny for a spirited, fun stay! I love my teacup, which was kindly given to me as a memento of our visit. I hope to see some future work from the skilful artist in the house! Thank you and bless you, Tim & Nancy

Rosaleen was the perfect hostess. Couldn't do enough to help us. John was chief Chef serving up an excellent breakfast for us all. (Fantastic artist by the way). Hopefully we will be seeing more of them and their great farmhouse in the future. Will definately be back. Great to meet a farming family.

Reasons we had a fabulous stay at Oakfield Guest House: 1. Rosaleen and John. Rosaleen couldn't do enough to make sure we were full and entertained, just like your favorite Aunt. John was handy and hilarious- gotta love the Irish humour. 2. Gorgeous bedroom. New and clean, quietly furnished in golds and greens that matched the sun on the sumptious... More

There is no surprise waiting for you at Oakfield guest house. It is as splendid as it appears on its informative website. Pleasant on the eye are its spacious colourful gardens, and comfortable is the accommodation that follows a quick 30 minute drive from Belfast. Leaving the grey of the motorway you enter the green of Ballinderry, which in the... More
