Owyhee? Oh why not! Should be renamed 'Oheckyes.' The hotel itself and location was great! Free parking which is always a plus. After a streak of awful hotel stays, this was a nice refreshing breath of fresh air. the price was great and so was the staff. Highly recommended. Kudos to the Oheckyes.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful room decor in an older building. Big flat screen tv with a great view over the Boise foothills. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. If you want to stay in downtown and are value conscious, this is a great place to stay!

Owyhee Plaza is walking distance from some excellent bars and restaurants and the people working there are friendly and helpful. Easy access is great for those traveling to Boise for the first time. Down side, the rooms are old... but they're renovating!
