My husband and I spent two nights at the inn this past weekend when in the area for the Masters. All of the guests at the inn were headed to the tournament so we got great tips for parking/directions from the inn keepers as well as the other guests. We stayed in the Planter's room which was very nicely decorated... More

We arrived on Friday afternoon to what I expected to be a "luxury" bed & breakfast as described on their website, only to find a plantation home in need of much repair and a lady bug infestation. Instead of just leaving, we tried to make lemonade out of a lemon of a location and look at it as an adventure... More

My husband and I stayed at Washington Plantation for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. When we arrived and taken to our room, beautiful red roses had been delivered for us and rose petals adorned the bed. A fruit basket, candies and a teddy bear were all there for us to enjoy. Breakfast in the morning was not only delicious but very... More

My husband and I stayed there Feb. 8 - 10, 2013 in celebration of the Revolutionary War battle weekend in Washington. Had free wine and cheese tasting in the afternoons and amazing gourmet breakfast. Hosts fun and gracious! Gave us excellent tips on restaurants, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed here for one night for my husband's birthday. Tom and Barbara were amazingly welcoming. The rooms are full of old fashioned charm, with delightful furniture and lovely touches, befitting its period. We enjoyed listening to their stories over a glass of wine with cheese in the early evening. We chose to have our dinner there... More

Arrived a bit late but Tom & Barbara made our stay a wonderful one. They made us really felt at home. They recommended a local restaurant, the old Jockey house, and we had schrimp and gritt for the first time. Lovely accomodation, town and surrounding. We'll be back!

Thanks to Tom and Barbara firstly for guiding us in the right direction as we explored both Washington and then northern Georgia - great advice and hospitality. We did enjoy our wonderful room, especially the bed (was like sleeping on a cloud). Breakfast was memorable - no need for lunch! Our hosts were full of local knowledge, shared their humming... More

First I would like to say I was very impressed with Washington Plantation! Second I would like to respond to the review from Gena R "Misrepresented! You must have been at the wrong place. We were there the same night. NOT sure what you saw, but our stay was without a doubt one for the memories. Between the hospitality of... More

The internet pictures of the B&B totally misrepresent Washington Plantation. It is NOT a 5-Star luxury Bed and Breakfast. The property was overgrown with tall grass and limp flower baskets. The house and shutters were in need of paint and repair. The gleaming wood floors shown in the pictures and bright rooms were nonexistent. The house had a very strong... More

From the time we walked into the house to when we left; we felt so welcomed by Tom and Barbara. The day we arrived was my birthday and Tom greeted me with "Happy Birthday". I also found beautiful roses in my room wishing me all the best on my special day. We were the only guests and enjoyed exploring the... More
