Having stayed in the sister hotel in Kota Kinabalu several times, this hotel exceeded my expectation. It offers slightly better facilities in the rooms. Function rooms are great. Meals are average. Services are satisfactory. The hotel is located quite a distance from the town centre but it is connected to a shopping mall with shops and food court.

We only stayed one night here before boarding a cruise. The rooms were adequate although beware of the slight step down into the bathroom which tripped up one of our friends and jarred his back. For the price paid this hotel was fine although I wouldn't want to stay here for a long time.
