I have stayed here in the past and enjoyed the location and reasonable rates. I am afraid though that it is seeing the toll of too many GA-FLA revelers and is in real need of some serious updating. “So much potential but poor execution”

Sea Palms Inn is conveniently located near the south center of St. Simons Island. The property isn't new but is in good condition. The landscaping is wonderful, the heated indoor pool inviting, the averaged-sized rooms adequate with mini-frig, microwave, and cable SD TV. Sounds good ... so much potential ... but sadly the staff isn't as good as the property.... More

After investigating your scenario and confirming with you that a new bucket topped with fresh ice had been delivered within 15 minutes; it was disheartening to learn that there was a misunderstanding regarding the instructions for the WiFi and pool towels.
