At the hotel now... Only marked them down a point on cleanliness because a room that hadn't been booked in a while had 2 spiders, three webs and was dusty. Very safe, quiet, clean, comfortable experience; good Internet speed and free long distance phone calls. Stayed on 2nd floor. It's a fairly new hotel, think it was built in 2007. Well maintained. Megan, the desk clerk, and Anna the Property Manager couldn't have been more friendly, professional, and helpful to a tired traveller. I would stay again in a heartbeat.... More

Great stay, Manager helped greatly after my problems with booking at local S**** VIII.....Never again will I try another chain when Microtel is in same area. Stayed 5 nights and saw the performance of most employees, All very helpful and professional...... I've stayed in hotels and B&B's all over the world and would rank Microtel at the top for value.

“Uncomfortable 2 nights”

Amenities consisted of a coffee maker & iron. The heating/cooling system didn't work right. The room was small, "stuffy," and too warm. Turning the thermostat down to 65 didn't help. A free breakfast--which was passable, and a friendly staff was all that kept me from rating this as (1.)

Sorry to hear you had two uncomfortable nights here at hotel. If would have known about the a/c unit not working properly, we would have had maintenance take care of the problem asap. I hope you will consider giving us a second chance on your next visit to North Georgia. And thank you for your business. More
