Your staff was very verbally abusive and bigoted. One of your staff called us "Faggots" you were rude to the elder lady with the German Shepherd for talking in the hallway. I see all your horrible reviews and here is another one to add to that. No wonder you are not good enough to accredited with the better business bureau "BBB" but they got bad reviews on you anyway. And another one from me. Rooms: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Location: 1/5

Not only was the front desk rude from the moment I called but they neglected to tell me that night it was a common occurrence for drug deal to happen right in the front. So when I went to walk my dog I saw a beautiful black souped up mustang drive-in and a man who looked like he was definitely on crack with a backpack hop in the car. I attempted to go to bed after I had already spent two hours scrubbing every surface because it was filthy. It’s clear by cleaning they mean take to the trash out of the fridge because there was dirt on every single service and layers of dust on top of this headboard on the air-conditioning and every other service I touch the red with black after I wiped it down. I even mopped the entire floor and used an entire pack of swiffers. But then it got worse and there were roaches in the room in the middle of the night even though I didn’t have food in the room and was on the second floor. I left in the middle of the night because I did not feel safe and it was absolutely disgusting having the roaches crawling around on the walls. I called at 1 AM when I left to leave a message letting him know that I did not stay the night and I would be taking a refund I arrived in the morning for them to tell me I signed a piece of paper that said no refunds even though I was never told there were no refunds. I said but you also said there was no drugs on from this and I thought drop you’ll have any when I went to my car at midnight and the two desk ladies laughed in my face and told me that she watched eight hours of video last night and didn’t see anything happening. That doesn’t even make sense because how can somebody watch the hours of videos in four hours so I am good describe the car to her and give her the place so that way she would know that I wasn’t lying that they were drug deal that I actually witnessed firsthand. I explain over the roaches were crawling on the walls and on the floor and she told me I should’ve done a better job of checking the room. I said how should I have checkEd better at check in. I said how would I know until I mopped myself how filthy it is and how would I know that you have drugs all over your promises even though your rules say it’s a drug free residence, and how should I check for the roaches? She told me that I’m not getting a refund and they’re not gonna give me the information to talk to the owner. I asked if there’s anyway to contact them if they have an email and she said no she would let them know and I said OK well then when will they be contacting me and she said I don’t know he might. I was a single female checking in and I can’t believe that these women wouldn’t have the courtesy of telling me what it was really like there and instead just tried to scam me. Do not even attempt to look at this place. It would be better off staying in a frat house.

First, this motel is no longer a Days Inn. It is Palms Inn now. They offer long term stays for a weekly rate, which describes my stay. The room faced the interstate, so it was noisy pretty much all of the time. Also, it is very difficult to get on the property from westbound Fletcher Avenue because it is so close to the interstate ramps. There's more. When I arrived the room didn't look too bad, and it was pretty clean. However, I noticed the mattress had a plastic cover on it. One night it had come off, and I discovered the mattress was stained in the middle with blood and I'm afraid to ask what else, and it stunk. That tells you how much they care about their guests. Instead of replacing the mattress, they just put a cover on it. Also, the room had lots of german roaches, and they got in and ruined the smoke detector and some of my things. Next, the motel offers free internet, but it is TERRIBLE. It goes out very frequently and the speed is very slow in the evening and night. Finally, the motel attracts a rough crowd and some weirdos. The maintenance and security staff dress like they're going to the beach or a night club. The office staff dress like street walkers. They all act like they only show up to get a paycheck, nothing else. Definitely avoid this motel for short nightly stays, and consider looking elsewhere for a long term stay. The daily rate of $35 a night may be cheap for a long term stay, but remember...you get what you pay for!

There are ROACHES first of all. They didn't even supply towels or a shower curtain. The SMOKE DETECTOR doesn't work (I checked ....no battery) The room wasn't properly cleaned. And this so-called "Non-smoking" (as posted on the room door) REEKED of cigarette smoke ! But we tried to just 'make due' until we found something else since most of these places won't refund your money. Now onto the next issue .....SECURITY. NONE of these so-called "Security Guards" are trained ...trust me ... I've been one. Everyone who is staying there must show the "security guard" their room key. OK seems logical. For the first THREE days of coming in thru the gate I displayed MY key. (Each guest gets a key). "Guard" let us through ... no questions - no comments. But then on our 4th day we were coming in after a particularly brutal day at work. The "guard" (different guy than the last few) DEMANDED in a very rude tone that my husband showed his. My husband is tall and he is also Bi-polar. His response was "well I'll have to get out because it is in my back pocket in my wallet". Now my husbands tone showed that he was a bit irritated by this since we had NEVER been expected for BOTH of us to display our cards. And the "guard" went so far as to say, "Don't like it, then go to management" In an equally RUDE tone. Do after we parked and my husband went to shower, I went to the office. I explained what happened and the "head manager" comes to the desk and asks what day we were paid up to. She told me that that would be our last day there. She was KICKING US OUT. I apologized (even though I shouldn't have had to) I explained about my husband having Bi-polar. She didn't care. My husband came up to the front desk and apologized ..... NOPE ! So if you want to live in a Roach infested prison camp where you have to kiss nasty staffs a*@ THIS IS THE PLACE !

After live aboard sailboat, got smashed by Irma...I needed a place to stay. Should have not ignored the red flags. First, the office is a shed, the type you buy at Home Depot., The Pool that's shown in the advertisement, is not heated. Second, no sheets, pillows, towels, or housekeeping, not even toilet paper!!! Extremely rude help, also.

Looks like "Days Inn" no longer wants their name associated with this filthy hotel. I guess the local management couldn't keep the hotel up to standards for their corporate Days Inn upper management. It is now locally managed, and changed names to Palms Inn. Maybe they should just bulldoze the whole place down like they did with the hotel up the street and start from scratch....guess that would alleviate the roach problem and filty, smelly rooms. It's a shame they let this hotel go down hill. The location to Busch Gardens is so close and draws in a lot of tourists from around the world. This is not leaving a good impression on how Tampa is. Shame on the local management for not caring...SMH

First let me start by saying I have never made prepaid reservations and then get to hotel and they can't find your reservations so instead of helping me the guy told me I had to call Wyndham rewards to find out what happen to my reservations ( mind you they didn't open back up until 9am the next day ) so I had to rent a room that was double the price I paid and try to fit my family into it until the office opened and the supervisor came in the office (which was at 12pm ) now once she came in I can say that morning crew was very helpful I give them 5 stars because they really tried to accommodate my family and I to the best of their ability. Well the first room I went in was non smoking but immediately as my kids stepped into room they started coughing so I asked to have the room changed the second room was worst. So I asked where are the rooms that you show on internet can I have one of those rooms so I was told to wait until check out and they will issue me that room by that time the supervisor came she found my reservations but I lost the first day from reservations so she was nice to not charge me that day... when rooms were cleaned they gave me room 167 and 168 well we put our things inside room and left for the day to the parks we arrived to rooms around 11pm well room 167 was ok but room 168 was full of roaches and it's was small baby roaches. I went to office to complain and the guy that was there told me it's nothing he could do about it he had no rooms available for me so I took it upon myself to go look around and as I thought they had plenty rooms available mind you it's now 2am and he decided he can give me another room . If I could have found another room that was reasonable in price I would have just asked for a refund and left the cost of my room was suppose to be using my rewards points 45 each a night well my rewards was taken for 4 days which was 12000 points plus they charged me the wrong price I don't recommend this hotel at all .... run fast pull out go to another hotel
