“Great location”

We recently stayed here and although the hotel is older, it has been renovated to a nice standard with granite tops and modern bed. Our room was a bit "tight" getting past the bed, but we would certainly recommend this place to anyone going that way. Being just across the street from the fort, there were water views, too.

This is our third yr staying here, and the inn has been updated so much! It is definitely getting better as it 'ages'! I stayed here as part of a group, but if I had known the downside of this 'Sixties motel, I'd have stayed elsewhere. The plus side is the location, right in the heart of the old city. We arrived on Tuesday 4/23/13. Both sink and tub drained very slowly. Reported problem to desk on 4/24/13. Their response: "we will fix it today." That evening, the sink refused to drain at all.
