This is now a Quality Inn and rennovations have been done. The furniture was newer and the mattress was very good. This Jameson location was a pleasure. I always seem to enjoy their properties that have doors located on the inside of the hotel. The place was clean and comfortable, although I wouldn't be opposed to their mattresses having a little more padding on top. The bathroom was clean and spacious. This hotel is in a perfect location right off I-75. Lake City is a perfect mid-way stop while traveling through Florida and has a lot of eating establishments nearby the Jameson. The hotel is very clean and rooms are comfortable. Price is good and I will stay there again.

This is my second stay at the Jameson Inn and I will stay here again. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Several restaurants are nearby and the free breakfast is a bonus. If you need a place to stay in Lake City, look no further!
