Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and elegant and the staff is very friendly. The pool and hot tubs feels like paradise. I love the beautiful orchids hanging from the trees in the courtyard. The location is perfect For walking to Duvall Street. I would recommend staying here.

Third stay at this hotel, and we're glad to report that the high standards and service have not slipped in any way! Very comfortable, well-appointed rooms; exceptionally good housekeeping; tasty complimentary breakfast; nice happy hour every evening with one free drink; and every effort made to ensure that their guests are happy. This trip was to celebrate our anniversary, and we were greeted with a swan towel sculpture on our bed plus champagne flutes filled with chocolates and a bottle of champagne in the fridge. You can always get great restaurant and activity recommendations from the staff and they will make reservations for you. The hotel is within walking distance ( 0.7 mile or less) of most of the main sightseeing spots on the island which is part of why we like staying there. On-site, off-street parking is another big plus. We appreciate the adults-only policy as our infrequent vacations are for relaxing and enjoying quiet time with one another.

We’ve stayed at the Almond Tree 4-5 times now. It is a quaint place on Truman less than a block from Duval, so it’s very centrally located to many restaurants, shops, museums etc, so you don’t need a car. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is great. It is pricey, but not sig diff than similar hotels. While it’s not on a beach, several beaches are very close by. They have a nice morning breakfast and a happy hour included daily It is an adult only boutique hotel I highly recommend the Almond Tree if staying in Key West

This really is a very special place to stay and deservedly ranked as number one in Key West. From the moment that you arrive until check out, the team are absolutely committed to making your stay amazing and memorable. Everyone is incredibly friendly, chatty and enthusiastic. They can’t do enough for you. Happy hour is just that: happy! Dani is a superstar and just a great guy! All in all, the hotel is terrific: rooms, facilities, location, breakfast; everything. If you’re staying in Key West, stay here!

We loved our stay here. The room was perfect with a sitting area and 2 queen beds. The breakfast was delicious with a continental theme, but had a lot of selections. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, especially Cary.

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Cary at the main desk was welcoming. He explained ammenities, which ncluded pool and hot tub and showed us to our room. We had a wonderful breakfast and happy hour included with our room. Winfilld stopped poolside to ask if we needed restaurant recommendations. He called and made dining arrangements. He was knowlegable and went above and beyond to be sure we were enjoying our stay. Entire staff delightful and room was immaculate. Housekeeping freshened room each day. The attention to details at this resort are unmatched. Tablecloths and fresh flowers on courtyard tables were a quaint bonus! Stay here. You will be glad you did. We will definately be back.

A fantastic experience! From the front desk to the breakfast to the happy hour! We had a great time! The grounds were beautiful and the room was clean, well appointed and the bed was comfortable. My friend and I were very impressed. The team arranged a golf cart rental and had it delivered and picked up at the Inn. We received good advice on where to eat and places to visit. I will definitely be back with my husband and will recommend to family and friends.

This was our first trip to Key West - I did my research but we were absolutely delighted we were able to get one of the last rooms for 5 nights that was a lovely 2 queen suite on the first floor level. It was barely a block off busy Duval Street but felt like a quiet oasis. The grounds and pool are very well maintained and inviting. The continental breakfast and happy hour included in our nightly rate was just enough. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was in the back and felt secluded with very comfortable beds and a nice sitting area with a couch, chair, sink, coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator. Parking was extra but never a problem finding a spot. The Almond Tree is on the expensive side but the comfort, amenities and very walkable location were worth it. Highly recommend.
