We visited Amelia island for the first time and spent a week at the Surf and Raquet. The beaches are beautiful, and we found the island to be wonderfully uncrowded compared to other east coast areas we have visited. The grounds are very nice, trees, parking, pool and of course the incredible beach. Inside the 2-bedroom it felt crampted generally tired. Views to the ocean are not what I expected. This is definitely an older property. Great location next to the Ritz Carlton. More
