Very nice, clean motel on a canal in the heart of everything that is Ft Myers Beach. Short walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Breakfast across the street. All for a very reasonable price. We'll be back...

Grounds were disgusting with cigarette butts on pavers, walkways and pool deck. Black mildew in pool area with weeds growing out of pavers. Just spent a week at the Shipwreck the 3rd week in March, '13, second year here. Had a nice room with a bedroom that had a door closed off form the kitchen and sitting room. The pier was right outside our door where manatees would swim by on 3 of our 7 days there. We even had the new water... More

We love the location! Very close to everything...walking distance or just hop on the trolley. Pool was clean and great temperature. Everyone on staff that we talked to were always very friendly and went out of their way to help make you feel welcome. Definitely a great place to stay and will definitely come back again!

The motel is centrally located, within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and the beach. There is a beautiful pier right down the road where we watched an amazing sunset.
