Ok....Lobby & cafe is obviously recently rennovated and nice. Took a bit of time to check in with only 1 on duty.....similar issue at 10pm when trying to purchase a water. The lobby and ammenities are wonderful. Small cafe, with Starbucks, bar and food. They offer a happy hour with very comfortable booths/tv area. We stayed here for one night post-cruise. From Ft. Lauderdale airport or Port Everglades to this hotel will run you about a $40 cab ride one way.
