The staff were nice. The parking is free. The restaurant was clean. Maybe I'm used to a more upscale hotel but I thought it looked very institutional. There was a sign on the window air conditioner that said not to put anything in front of the AC because if it rains, everything will get wet. Need I say more? More

Other than the convenience of being close to the port and having a free shuttle, this hotel is TERRIBLE. The rooms stink of masked cigarette smoke and mould and are in desperate need of updating! There are no windows to air the place and the window air conditioning is loud and annoying. The restaurant is just adequate, but I had... More

This hotel was not very clean, and the rooms smelled funny (kind of like a combination of air freshener and mold). The front desk staff was pleasant enough to me, but they were kind of surly with most of the other guests I observed. They were also slow, and slow in picking up the phone, as well. On the up... This was obviously an old Holiday Inn that got a fresh coat of paint and little else. The main benefits are the free transportation to the air port and the cruise port. The breakfast is very skimpy unless you pay an additional $5 per person for warm entrees. The staff are friendly, but extremely overworked. It is very remote from... More

I booked this hotel because it was cheap however I assumed some level of quality with a Ramada Inn I was wrong. this hotel was in bad shape and my 1st room had a sickening chemical smell. They did change my room and it was better. the area is isolated with no resaurants available by foot. Their restaurant did not... More

This hotel needs to be completely renovated. The rooms were not nice - just generally grubby and tired looking. The food was not great either. The staff weren't even very friendly except for the guy who came up to try and unblock the drain in the shower/tub, and the one young girl who served us in the restaurant. Nowhere else... More

booked 2 rooms here due to a flight cancellation and free shuttle service. For a nonsmoking resort, both our rooms reaked of smoke and cig burns. there was also no comforter on the beds? just a very light throw. The place was just gross for money spent, grabbed food at bar and mediocare at best. would never go back. More

I just stayed in this hotel for 3 days to sleep and shower. Even this, I can say that was one of the worst place I have been in my life. It is dirty. You have to beg to receive a towel. The bath does not work. I do not recommend. More

This place is clearly dated and needs a face lift. Took a walk through the restaurant before they opened and chose to eat elsewhere. Guess they stay busy from the cruise lines being so close. The staff is very nice, but just does not make up fall all the other short comings. Spend a little extra and stay elsewhere More

We stayed at the Ramada prior to a cruise. Here are my thoughts... Positives: *Free shuttle to/from airport and to Port Everglades *Nice pool area *Very close to Port Everglades Negatives: *Breakfast bar is not great. If you pay extra fee for "buffet"- know that you are only allowed 1 trip through, and it's not all that. Would have preferred... More
