If you like an historic building converted into a B&B, this is the place for you. Large spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Owners were very friendly. Everglades City is old Florida, and this is the perfect place to stay.

We stayed after the New year holidays and were intrigued by the fact that it had been a bank and was relatively newly opened. We had the ground floor family room for 5 of us. The bath might look good but getting in and out was tricky and it was a battle to stop water from the shower going on... More

This was our first time traveling to Everglades City and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. B+B staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to my family. Breakfast was great (French toast is amazing) and plentiful. For anyone looking for a really unique old Florida experience, this is the place to visit in Everglades City.

Stayed here last night. The charm ends with the fact that its an old bank. Needs updating and way overpriced. There is a bathroom ensuite so that was a plus. No hot breakfast. Everything is in your in room fridge for the next morning. There is a microwave d.own the hall to heat things up. Stay at the rod and... More

My husband and I are seniors that appreciate any thing that involves history. To be able to see that vault that held "more money than any other bank in the state when Hurricane Donna hit on Sept. 10th, 1960," was one of the highlights of our trip through South Florida. Sleeping right upstairs from that safe was thrilling. I could... More
