We visited family that was staying here and it is really nice. It is right on Manasota Key beach, clean with nice. Our family has stayed here the past 5 years and they love it so we will be looking at staying here on our next vacation!

Love the beach. No, big high-rises or condo units anywhere close. Fresh seafood that you can within a 5 minute walk. Great restaurants across the street and very safe and friendly. we have been staying at the Castaways since 1984...we have never had a bad experience . it is our paradise away from home. it is not the newest or the plushest around, but peaceful and serene! we would NEVER go anywhere else. See ya in the fall....
