Our stay at Pelican Pointe was awesome. The amenities were exactly as described. The room suited us perfectly. Recently stayed here for 3 days just after the new year. The hotel is a no-frills place to stay but location is good as it is a 10 minute stroll to pier 61 and the beach is across the street. My girlfriend and I stayed here for New Years Eve 2011/2012. It was terrific. The location is fantastic. Yes, there are more centralized hotels like the hyatt if you want to spend $350 on a night. We stayed over the Christmas Holiday 2011. Friendly helpful staff- Bud, Ashley, Kimberly, Jessica and Mike- thank you for your hospitality.
