We spent a week here the first of May 2013. Stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage. Spartan but clean. Cable TV, kitchen, decent A/C. Reasonble price. The beauty though is you can dock your boat 200 feet away from your cottage. Launch the boat, gas, bait, tackle, ice, etc... all at your finger tips. The folks that run the place... More

I loved the setting, bridge right there to fish off or just watch the aquatic life, Key Deer at the door every morning and evening, No Name Pub is right there.... I didnt expect 5 STARS, but come on people, a comfortable bed you can sleep in would be nice. I can work around the grungy pots and pans, mismatched... More

Spent a few days at the cottages. Very convienant to the Key Deer habitat and fishing. The cottages were clean but the utensils were in adequate. The bed was horrible. The room had a strange smell when we arrived. Smelt like Urine. The outside of the refrigerator was rusty. I guess if you are a man and you just want to... More

"The Old Wooden Bridge Fishing Camp" is an appropriate description of the rooms. We were in the Keys on vacation and thought that Big Pine Key would be a good spot to explore the natural surroundings and not be too far from Key West as well. The area was great and the Key Deer Refuge got us out of the... More

We spent 2 weeks here at the beginning of March. If you're a fisherman, the condition of the cabins wouldn't bother you. They are old, dated, and stocked with a mish mash of second hand utensils. The mattresses are the worst I've ever slept on (very hard) and the walls are thin,if you are in one of the shared cabins... More

We were more than happy with our 5 day stay at OWB. Our cabin was nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and came with two Key Deer and four cats in the backyard. We mostly explored the Keys on this trip so didn't take advantage of the pool or rental kayaks and boats available. We will definitly do so next time.THE DEER... More

We stayed here on a recent trip to Miami and the Keys - did 2 nights in South Beach and continued on from Big Pine Key to Key West afterwards. This was the budget portion of our trip where we wanted to find a slightly less expensive place to stay so we could partake in some of the outdoor activities... More

I have three young kids and they all had a great time at the OWB. We have been there several times and plan to go back again. This is a great value for the money. I believe it was only $10 to dock our boat. We brought our own sheets and bedding, as their is not the best.

If you're looking for somewhere quiet, clean, and right on the water this is a great place to stay. We were on a family trip so we were incredibly happy that it was family friendly and not loud and crazy. With that being said the rooms definitely need some updating. We stayed in #1 and it had a constant smell... More

This is my 3rd trip back to OWB. The staff is so nice to everybody. It was the husband's first time there and he is ready to go back again. The unit we stayed at was B and clean, the kitchen was quaint, beds were cozy, bathroom roomy. Our little Corgi learned to go up and down the stairs on... More
