Wow, this was our Bed & Breakfast during our stay in Ireland this month (May 2013). If you go to the Southern part of Ireland (counties Kerry, Clare and Cork), than this is a fantastic place to stay. It is the perfect combo of a beautiful house, extremely clean rooms, a high quality breakfast. Even more important is that the... More

This place was absolutely beautiful and the host Ulrike was very friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, perfectly decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was prepared at a time decided by us and had a good selection to choose from. We enjoyed the full Irish breakfast all 3 mornings. The location was perfect and right down the road from The... More

We booked for two nights, extended our stay, and then went back. Ulrike's and JJ's hospitality is extraordinary. The room was great, the breakfasts superb and, for us, the location was ideal - peaceful but close to the National Park, the Gap of Dunloe and Carrauntoohil. Of all the B&Bs we stayed in, this was the best. Very strongly recommended.

Really lovely B&B in picturesque Beaufort - perfect location for the Gap of Dunloe and a short car journey from Killarney town. Rooms were much bigger and of a better standard than we were expecting. The dressing table was a lovely bonus! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Great selection and quality breakfast - don't miss the variety of... More

The title of this review could probably be said about most of Ireland, but especially Beaufort Lodge. In fact, I wish I owned a house like Beaufort Lodge. First, JJ and Ulrike are two very nice hosts that are very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and very accommodating. We were traveling with my family and took up 3 of the... More

This was our first visit to Ireland and we were very lucky to spend 4 nights at Beaufort Lodge in Killarney. It is a wonderful B&B and Ulrike and J.J were the perfect hosts making us so welcome, our room was lovely and clean and it was huge, we were fascinated by the windows which could open several different ways,... The bedrooms are big and welcoming guest! the house is near from a very very very good pub (Kate), the hosts are very kind and very good counsellor. For the breakfast you have a menu. (good cheeses!) Spent 5 days with the owners. Home made breakfasts were very good, and the hosts looked after us very well. A warm and friendly welcome and meticulous attention to our needs. Very quiet, and convenient for most attractions in Kerry

I stayed in this lovely character house for a couple of days. I loved the family atmosphere and the amazing breakfast which was every morning something special. The House has a wonderful and peaceful feeling and garden. Killarney, nearby Gold courses and other major attractions are easy to get through by a short car ride. The rooms and the house... More

Beaufort Lodge is everything a B&B should be. We loved our stay and the only downside was that it completely spoilt us for the next place we stayed. The house is picture perfect nestling in a beautiful cottage garden. Inside, the rooms are gorgeous. Really simple, spacious, light and airy. Polished wooden floors, pale wood furniture, kingsize bed, white billowy... More
