Family circumstances resulted in the opportunity to visit the delightful town of Ridgefield for an extended period. We elected to stay at the West Lane Inn for a 30 days, and we could not have been more pleased. We are not necessarily "easy to please" people but we have nothing but compliments for theowner, staff, and accomodations at West Lane... More

Very nice experience. Deborah was attentive. The room on the first floor was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The fireplace was active when we arrived which added a nice touch to the room. Nicely located with a short walk to a lovely New England town.

We had room 204, a corner room on the 2nd floor. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had character (including creaky floors). There's no elevator, but they offered to take our bags up to the room. The walk into town for dinner was very nice. Breakfast downstairs was simple but good.

We love this place! About twice a year, my work brings me back to Southwestern Connecticut—and, more often than not, my wife is able to join me on these trips. We just returned from a five-day stay at this inn. The West Lane Inn has become our favorite “bed and breakfast”, and we always choose it when business or pleasure... More

We spent a weekend at the West Lane Inn a couple of weeks ago and what a delightful, relaxing, welcoming experience! The owner made us feel so comfortable, like we were old friends. The decor is charming, the room comfortable and well-appointed, and the common areas clean, bright, and definitely upscale. It reminded me of some of the small boutique... More

Just back from a crisp, beautiful winter weekend in Ridgefield, Connecticut - perfect except for a disappointing stay at The West Lane Inn. Ridgefield is a stunningly picturesque town made even more so under 3" of fresh snow. The little town center is beautiful and the homes on Main Street are incredible, so we were excited for a little exploration.... More

Stayed here recently with friends. Had a very nice time. Rooms are large enough that you are not feeling overcrowded. Owners are very friendly and accomodating. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. Setting is very pretty. I have family in the area and travel there frequently. I've stayed at another nearby inn in the past and will choose the West... Stayed here for one night for a wedding nearby. The room was quite large with a working fireplace and two double beds, nicely appointed with period furniture and wall coverings. The bathroom is a bit on the small side but has a heated towel rack - quite a luxurious feeling. The window treatments were rather flimsy aluminum blinds and the... More

Fabulous night or two stop just outside of town (Ridgefield, CT). Most important it is clean and well run. A nice benefit a great RESTURANT right next door Bernard 's. The quaint town center is a short distance away. In good weather breakfast on the porch. Can't miss this opportunity.

This was my first ever visit to a BnB after hearing my girlfriend rave about them from the beginning of our relationship. The inn is located in beautiful Ridgefield, CT. The town is quaint, beautiful, friendly and feels like new England even though it's only an hour from NYC. We loved the village and also explored two nearby state parks... More

We have replaced TVs in our guest rooms with 32" flat screen TVs. As part of our complimentary continental breakfast, we do offer freshly squeezed orange juice, blueberry muffins and sour cream coffee cake. Throughout most of the year, we offer a fresh fruit cup as a gift from the house. More
