I had to pick my daughter up from QU college. I used Priceline and it was pretty much a crap shoot. I ended up with this hotel. The one word I would use to describe this hotel is "tired". The remodeled guest rooms are cheerful, clean, and of adequate comfort. Hotel style AC unit under the window. Comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed here 3 times over the last couple months. The first 2 times were ok. But the last visit was not good. They put us in a smallish room directly next to the train tracks. Last weekend we stayed at the Holiday Inn on Washington Avenue in North Haven, Ct. The room was nice & clean and relatively roomy. However, I thought the price was really on the high side at $110 per night plus $16 in taxes. They sort of have a captured market with no other places to stay in the immediate area.... More

“Very clean with great amenities.”

Stayed here on 3/13 and had a enjoyable stay. Lobby, the room and pool very clean. Front desk very good. Has Sports bar restaurant and food was good. Lobby had comp hot soup and coffee which is great. Will stay here again. Easy on and off the interstate.

“College Visit”

Was in New Haven, Ct., to visit the University with my daughter. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. As a Platinum member of Holiday Inn, we were greeted with a fruit and cheese platter in our room, which was a very impressive surprise.
