Was told at check-in that our room had a "great" view. Got to our room and there was no view to speak of. The gentleman helping with our luggage said that there were much better views and called the front desk. We went to 3 more rooms, and ended up with a better view, not great, but it was nice.... More

This is my 5th ski trip to Telluride and maybe my wife's 8th trip and each time we stayed at Mountain Lodge. I wish I could quit my job and move here permanently! The accommodation is great except for the availability of the hot tub. You have to hike up the hill from many of the units. Also the tub was only luke warm for several days. Ski in, ski out is very handy. In the floor heating was hard to control. More

The quality of the hotel was very nice, but I was slightly disappointed by the "pleather" couch -- a fabric one would have been more comfortable (we were in a junior suite). The Mountain Lodge was very well located, right between two runs (Double Cabin and Village Bypass). Proximity to the gondola to Mountain Village was great - an easy walk or a short shuttle ride.
