Mountainside gets a lot of mixed reviews, and I can see why. It wasn't filthy, but housekeeping had overlooked a number of things, including a dirty shirt left from a previous guest. The suite smelled and musty, and the carpet was well-worn. But I didn't feel as though I'd catch bugs from the room. On the bright side, the sound...

We were in Telluride for the Blues & Brew festival. The room was large enough for two people with a comfortable bed. The room was clean with plenty of towels. We enjoyed the kitchenette to make our breakfast every morning. There is a grocery store about one mile away which made it easy to pick up food. There is also...

Went to the visitor center and got a walk in rate of $79 for the night. Room was large and clean. Lady at the desk was very nice.

We chose this hotel/motel because of its price and location. It is a great place if you are looking for and inexpensive place to sleep right in town. Yes, the rooms are older, but they are super clean and the beds were comfortable with lots of soft pillows (my only complaint was poorly lit hallways on our floor). They also...

I didn't encounter any issues with noisey college kids or bad service on my trip - was fearful of that after the other reviews. But I will confirm that the place is prone to hearing neighbors noise...the floors were creaky and it was indeed "rustic." But for the price, I was quite happy with it. Simple and cheap - especially...

Even for $79/night....office closes at 6 PM so if you need anything after that, you are out of luck. Room smells, lady at front desk is not as cordial as she should be, window is stuck open for the night as we cannot close it. We were told they would send someone in the morning, however we are leaving in...

Hotel accommodations in Telluride are generally pricey, so the Mountainside Inn must be considered a bargain. Nonetheless, the accommodations are comfortable and clean, if not luxurious. The rooms are cleaned by housekeeping only once a week, but we did not find this to be a serious drawback. The Inn is only a short walk from "downtown" Telluride and the gondola...

I stayed three nights with my son on a ski trip. The rooms aren't all that nice, but it is effectively a ski-in, ski-out location. For a guys' trip it was perfect.

We rented a room for 7 nights. Although they say they do not have housekeeping, they proceed to say your room will be cleaned on the third day. Interstingly, the third day is the only housekeeping they give you no matter how long you stay! When questioned on this issue they admit it is strange and they will gladly clean...
