Pros. Friendly, helpful desk staff. Good shuttle service by Steamboat resorts. Coffee, donuts and a fireplace are available while waiting for shuttle. My wife and I stayed in Unit B-304. It was nice, although dated. Bed was nice and firm. Friendly staff. Our unit is on the end and no one stayed below us, so we had no noise problems, except when someone checked in next door. A distinctly bad experience. Problems centered around poorly stocked and unsafe kitchen and shocking bad service, esp. housekeeping. The Lodge at Steamboat is conveniently located near at the base of Steamboat's Mt. Werner, mere steps from the gondola, many restaurants and shops.
