The staff was amazing! Food, music, and lodging were ideal! The location was great! I loved the history and peacefulness, which is why I came! They even loaned me a jacket because I underestimated the weather! I would do it all again! Ignore the previous review!

The locals suggested Wyman, the Silverton Inn, and even the Hostel, but not this place. If they would've had room I would have. I actually like old building but this was different. We checked in and the receptionist was personable and professional. The normal check out is 11am, but we asked for a late check out of noon. She checked... More

Every summer, my husband and I stay at this hotel in Silverton while in Colorado. While I must admit it needs some updating in the bedrooms, new bedding, new furniture (in some rooms), touch up painting, it is such a charming hotel. You need to keep in mind that they have a peak season between late May and early September... More

The staff was very accommodating to us and very helpful. This place is over 100 years old and you should remember that when staying here. Holliday Inn this place is not and I'm glad it isn't. Keep your expectations realistic and you will love your stay. We'll be back for sure.

when we first entered this hotel I was very impressed. It has charm, old style ambiance and a great lobby. However, the rooms do leave something to be desired. The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the bathroom clearly needed some updating. Overall, I would probably stay here again, but it is a little rough around the edges and needs a... More

We booked a family room for one night for 3 friends travelling together. The room was well presented and clean and the rate more than acceptable. The bar downstairs was warm and the bartender welcoming with well priced drinks. This place is full of history and a ghost that we did not see!

A neat place to stay with a LOT of History. Suprisingly comfortable, high ceiling rooms, comfortable beds. Can be a little warm no A/C but the nights do cool off even in the hot summer. We had a double queen on the 3rd floor overlooking main streat, pretty neat. No elevator though. Realy neat lobby but did not try the... More

We stayed here for one night in early October and pretty much had the hotel to ourselves. Theresa was great when I called for reservations and told her I was interested in haunted hotels-she booked me in one room and thirty minutes later called me back and told me she thought we would like a room on the third floor... We were driving across the United States and wanted to stay somewhere along the million dollar highway. We chose to stay in the Grand Imperial as the cost was reasonable and we had a master suite for less than most other hotels we stayed on our trip. Our room had a view of the street and was very victorian. The... More

We had a wonderful time staying here! Beautiful rooms with that wonderful historic feel. We didn't realize we had gotten a suite for the same price as the regular room my other family had gotten, cool! Had beautiful views out the windows, bar service downstairs, an my favorite part - the upstairs level (a big open roomed area with room... More
