Just wanted to put in a review to say how wonderful this place is. It is so relaxing and surprisingly very, very clean! I have been back to the States now for a week and still can't stop wishing I was back there! Peter and Irene are lovely and accomodated us with whatever we needed! I am still hoping that... More

This was our third visit to West Hollowcombe and from the moment we turned into the lane it felt totally familiar. The subtle changes, a new kitchen, a new shower unit; all added to enhance the already familiar. We stayed in "Norton" and the view down the valley from the living room window is ever changing with the light, and... More

This was our second visit to WH, and this time we stayed in Kiri. A very pleasant well equipt cottage. I won't labour over a long write-up as I have reviewed this previously. I will just echo the sentiments of other reviewers and say that P&I make a great team and really do everything to make your stay comfortable. Thanks... More

Thank you for a wonderful week at West Hollowcombe Farm. The location was fantastic with great views from the farm. It was a bitterly cold week when we were there, so the Peter, the owner, ensured that the fire was kept going whilst we were out sight seeing. If we go back to Exmoor, we would certainly consider staying at... More

We stayed at West Hollowcombe last October (2012) and can thoroughly recommend it. The cottage we stayed in was fantastic and the welcome from Peter and Irene was superb; particularly the scones and clotted cream awaiting us when we arrived! The location is a little more out of the way than other cottages we've stayed at but that only adds... More

Our family took over Smiddy, Kiri and Jasper, and had a very enjoyable week. The weather was bitterly cold so Peter's offer of stoking the log burners during the day when we were out was gladly accepted. The cottages were warm, exceptionally clean and welcoming; the hospitality was second to none and we would all love to stay again to... More

We spent a most enjoyable week staying in Jasper. The cottage is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Coming home every night to a roaring fire was much appreciated and the delicious scones, jam and cream on arrival were a welcome treat. West Hollowcombe makes an ideal base for exploring beautiful Exmoor. Thank you Peter and Irene. F &... More

I have lost count of the number of times we have stayed here but the standards set by Irene and Peter remain excellent. This year our cottage, Norton, had a new kitchen, and a new bedroom layout with new bedroom furniture as part of the planned update of the facilities available. The weather this year was mixed and we had... More

We have just stayed in Kiri, 2x middle aged couples plus dog. Everything was perfect. Kiri was very well appointed and very clean. Nice. open space to walk the dog. Lovely walks from the property ,had an easy walk to Tarr Steps (and visit to the pub there).Peter had lit the wood burner so it was very warm and welcoming... More

This was our second stay at West Hollowcombe. The first being in Smiddy, and this time round in Jasper. Peter and Irene are the most hospitable of hosts and again we enjoyed the scones!! The beds are so comfy and large (a zip and link twin on both visits). Bathrooms are well appointed and clean and so are the kitchens.... More
