For a good price, you get a roof, a clean bed, a tv and a bathroom. Don't even bother about breakfast. The staff is kind, but the whole structure is very old. Anyway, a good price for being so close to Wolf Creek.

Don't stay here in the winter if you expect a heated room. The room was heated with an ancient heater and would not heat the entire room. It doesnt have a fan driven system. With no heating in the bathroom, taking a shower is like being in the outdoors. It was freezing. They do provide coffee and small breakfast in...

We have stayed many times at this quaint little spot right out of the 60's, but two changes of ownership in a few short years have not been for the better. Grouting was crumbling everywhere in the bathroom, walls had been carelessly repaired and repainted in a color that didn't even match the original. Sheets were cheap and scratchy, and...

This is a budget inn, with a helpful owner. Rooms were adequate for our needs, which was somewhere to stay for 2 nights. breakfast is included in the reasonable rates, but is pretty basic, continental style. Rooms clean, and location good, being just a short walk into downtown Pagosa.
We stayed at the Pinewood Inn on our way from Alamosa to Mesa Verde. We arrived, pretty late at night and left early, but the owner was very pleasant, helpful and hospitable. The room was spacious, had a fridge and free wifi. Perfect for a roadtrip stop over. The continental breakfast included homemade banana bread too! We would stay here...

I went to Pagosa to take care of some family business, and was recommended to Pinewood as I was travelling alone and on a very tight budget. I was very pleased with my room and although it is on the older side, I found it charming. The Breakfast to me was just right as I had new dental work and...

I disagree with the caustic review. My room was very clean. Great deal for the price.
We needed a room for the night in Pagosa Springs and we saw the Pinewood Inn.The owner was friendly and the price was low. Because we just needed a room for 1 night we took it.The room was poor and cold but for the price just right. The continental breakfast was very poor. Buy yourself a breakfast in the supermarket like...

It was cheap but a dump. The water pressure was so strong it hurt. Very old motel.
I don't know what people expect. I like old style places. My room was not glistening new plastic surfaces etc., but it was comfortable and clean . Remote didn't work but I didn't come to surf TV. Spartan breakfast bar but what can one get for $50 these days? Americans better get used to it. In our lazy culture it...
