We loved the innkeepers! The food was incredible, worth going back for many many times, and the setting was lovely. We did a couple short (half-hour, hour long) hikes around the home - wildflowers were enchanting, and the views. The best part of the trip was getting to know the inn-keepers. Terry taught us about making wood-fired pizza and dandelion syrup. Eric makes homemade wines (quite expertly) and explained to us his set-up and process. Felt like I had a personal connection with Terry and just really enjoyed her. I would recommend Brooklyn Mining Co. most for people who want to connect with other people. Accommodations were elegant and comfortable, but the quarters were close at the time we visited, though they were in the process of expanding.

We prefer staying in BnB's when we travel and have stayed in quite a few. This was the best we've visited in Colorado! Saturday pizza, cooked to order in their wood fired oven-couldn't have been better. Delicious breakfast the next morning. Both meals were way above and beyond expectations. Very well maintained and furnished in a beautiful location. The innkeepers are welcoming and make sure you have the getaway experience you want. Terri & Eric will share experiences with you or leave you in peace to enjoy the view. Whatever the reason, this is the place to stay!
