Although we have read negative reviews about Cascade Village Durango, we had a great experience there. We rented a beautiful three bedroom unit (#127) by Cascade Luxury Condos. The unit far and above exceeded our expectations. The furnishings were gorgeous and the views were breathtaking. We received very personalized service and would recommend this unit to anyone wanting to stay... More

Our room was someone's private condo. I felt uncomfortable knowing that. The rooms have no a/c so it was very warm at night and no window in the loft. Very uncomfortable beds. The maid didn't make our sofabed, left no shampoos or extra tp, the coffee maker was broken so we had to call for a new one. While we... More

We stayed in the 2 bedroom forrester with a double jaccuzi, fireplace and amazing mountain views. The unit was spacious and had everything we could need. The views are stunning, the property is very large so we enjoyed walking in the meadows. The indoor swimming pool is very unique and nice. The property is remote and private, we really liked... More

I have to say I didn't know what to expect when I checked in. Great service. The room looked much better in person than it did in the photo. When does that ever happen?? Nicely updated, comfortable beds, and all around great experience. I HIGHLY recommend this place. More

The service at the lodge was so bad that by the end of our stay it was almost comical. We were part of a wedding party and had a block of rooms reserved. Some people didn't get into their rooms until midnight because the lack of organization caused reservations to be lost. The rooms were not taken care of, we... More

Stayed in unit 346, a one bedroom self-contained unit (note that units are individually owned so can vary in quality). Nice, traditional decor and everything needed for a comfortable stay + King size bed! Was very quiet, and soaking in the hot tub at 9:30pm (with the snow falling) after our long drive was pure bliss. Only 2 miles from... More

The condos are individually owned so request an A unit. They differ considerably. The resort has been redecorated since my last visit. It is located one mile from the ski lifts with with shuttles to and from the resort durming ski season. There are many hiking trails nearby, some you can walk to from Cascade. They have hot tubs, indoor... More

My husband and I recently rented a one-bedroom unit at Cascade Village for 4 nights for our anniversary getaway. However, we left after 3 nights and moved to a hotel. There were numerous problems with the unit we rented, some only minor inconveniences and some ridiculous. The carpeting was filthy, stained and dirty. The couch was dirty and sagging. No... More

We loved our stay at the Cascade Village. The only thing I would suggest to those who have never been there is to be prepared. The nearest breakfast facility is 24 miles away. There is a gas stattion and store a few miles from there but prices were very high. Over $8 for a pack of bacon. Other than that... More

Cascade Village is part of a large resort community in Durango. However, it is hidden away and nestled up against Durango Mountain. It is the perfect winter wonderland when it is snow covered. It was an absolute amazing trip, all from the fun road trip down with my sister, to the awesome condo we stayed in, to the fresh powder... More
