Admit it, the lodging options are somewhat limited, and most people come to town to gamble. I recommend the Double Eagle. I have family in Cripple Creek, and I stay there when I visit. I'm not into gaming, and when you step out of the elevators into the hotel upstairs it is blissfully quiet. The rooms have pleasant air conditioning... More

Vey friendly staff, clean rooms. They have in-room coffee again (after several complaints about taking it out). We always get a room with a great view. The only thing that keeps them from getting a higher rating is the restaurant. Breakfast is good, but the evening buffets are terrible. We will stay there again.

I am so disappointed in the whole experience, I do not know where to start. I guess I will just focus on the restaurant, which was unbelievably awful. While the ambiance is nice, the food was disgusting. The salad dressing was so sour that it was inedible, the crab cakes were just breadcrumbs with fake crab meat, the sea bass... More

Many reviews I read said the hotel was great, service was great and the food was excellent. The hotel I experienced was a cheap knock off of a vegas casino done on a very tight budget, and the service was spotty at best. We were told the dining room closed at 9:00, we got there at 8:30 and were greeted... More

The hotel was decent, the beds & pillows were not the best. The hotel & rooms were clean. The TV was the box style and had about 12 channels and would get fuzzy. Our children thought it was funny to have an "old TV". We only stayed one night we had a gift certificate to use. The hotel staff at... More

Enjoyed the hotel, restaurants and casino very much. We only stayed one night but wish we could of stayed more. Check in was a breeze with the room being exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again in the future. We highly suggest you give this hotel a shot when you visit CCin the future. P.s.... More

Stayed here one evening and had a very pleasant time. We requested a non smoking room and the room we received did not have the least hint of smoke. It was very clean and the employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again if we're in the area.

My husband and I just spent the weekend at the Double Eagle Hotel and Casino. We had such a wonderful time! It was the first time we have had to take our dog with us and we weren't sure how that would all work out. First, our dog did wonderful! Second, the staff was over the top friendly to all... More

The hotel is clean, housekeeping was amazing and the staff was friendly. I was there for a work conference and they really did a great job at making us feel at home. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, but not sure I would go to Cripple Creek again as I liked Blackhawks much better, but that is just my two... More

You must stay at the Double Eagle Hotel and Casino in Cripple Creek, Co. My husband and I were married in Cripple Creek on 9-8-12, and stayed at the Double Eagle that night. We had the Presidental Suite. Nothing but 1st class and luxurious. Very large bedrooms (king size beds of course) with flat screen tvs. A lovely patio off... More
