We stayed in cabin 14 for two nights. This place is desperately in need of some TLC. So sad, because it could be an awesome place to stay. The location is great near the park, the creek and Pearl St. and the Hill area. We walked to them all. There is access to the red rock hiking area just across... More

We stayed at the Silver Saddle Motel over Memorial Day Weekend for our anniversary vacation. As other reviewers stated, the accommodations are quite small (we stayed in one of the little cabins), but seeing as it was our anniversary weekend, we thought it was quite cozy and quaint. We called the day that we were coming in to ask about... More

I stayed for three days in the biggest suite offered in the motel. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. The suite had two bedrooms and had nice views of the mountains from the windows. It's just on the outer edge of Boulder and one of the last buildings before you head into the canyons. The rooms were fairly clean. The... More

The Motel is located conveniently right outside of Boulder, maybe 3 minutes drive to the city center. The room was spacious though a bit worn down. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You can also use the barbecue in the yard, if you wish.

I have trouble giving the Silver Saddle an X out of 5 stars review. It's a funky old motel and will be 5 stars for some travelers and 1 star for others. There are also two parts to it, a motel and these old one room travel-lodge cabins. I've never stayed in the motel, only the cabins so this review... More

I stayed 1 night with my family - 6 invidiuals. The cabin I stayed in were rustic, worn, but overall were clean. The location is close to the downtown Boulder area with plenty of local places to eat and places go shopping. I would not expect more than a place to stay for the night. However, with that being said,... More

We stayed for one night in August. I wasn't expecting much based on the reviews, and found them to be pretty accurate. Older, but quite comfortable. Enjoyed having the separate bedroom, loved the views from front and back. I could hear our neighbor as I was going to sleep but found an app that had a fan sound on it... More

It's a funky old motel which also has cabins. I stayed in a cabin. It was a little old and worn but had everything I needed, even for an extended stay. I did not use the kitchen, but it seemed very well equipped, 4 burners, a microwave and pots and pans. The bathroom was really small, an obese person might... More

We arrived in Boulder late and with no reservation. Best Western, my first choice was full. We were just searching on our phones and the Silver Saddle popped up so we called, he had a room, and he said he "usually locked up at 9:30, but he'd stay open til we got there." The motel is really on the edge... More

I travel for work mostly, and the biggest issue I have is how hard it is to sleep. Most motels/hotels are just so noisy, but the Silver Saddle is an oasis of peace. Located near a rushing stream, the only thing to hear at night is the water and morning birds, with traffic noise a vague and non-intrusive sound. Each... More
