We stayed in cabin #8, Quiet, cozy & quaint. Had everything we needed in the kitchen for some serious cooking. WiFi worked along with satellite TV if you're looking for that kind of distraction. The fire pit areas around the cabins & by the river are awesome. The cabin needs a little updating but nothing extreme. The location is beautiful to take a... Over the 40+ years my family has vacationed in the Poudre Canyon, we've occasionally stayed in the cabins that are now part of Archer's Poudre River Resort. On the latest trip, my aunt and uncle stayed in one cabin. I do not remember the cabin number, but it had a loft, if that helps. They are quite particular about their... More

I am a wedding photographer, and this is where my couple chose to have their wedding.. The scenery was priceless! That being said, I was in cabin 8, and my guess would be noone has used it for ALONG time.. The minute i opened the door it smelled stale, when i went to get into bed again, sheets and pillows... I came to look at the resort as a possible place to hold a large family reunion. The office staff was rude both when I made the reservation and also when I asked questions about renting the whole place the day I was there. When I came in the office she was yelling at someone on the phone for dialing... More

I didn't even get to stay here. I tried to but when I had to cancel due to a family surgery, they told me I had to pay 10%. Ouch... Please note, I wasn't told that when I made the reservation... but ok... I canceled 24 hours after making the reservation - and it is their policy. So fine -... More

We stayed in Cabin 5 with a very nice deck. The cabin however was very outdated. Fully furnished kitchen with a coffee pot but no filters, no papertowels, no salt, pepper or ice cube tray. The mattress was horrible, the couch was very dirty, we put the dog blanket on it to sit. The window, you could barely see out... More

Stayed over the weekend and we all had a great time. Awesome place to stay, staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner is a volunteer medic which I thought was great!!! I was wondering why there was an ambulance on the property. grounds are very well kept and clean. Cabins are just way cool, tent sites are very large... More

We stayed in Cabin 4 with 5 people. While a bit crowded, it met our needs, however, the kitchen is equipped with a very small refrigerator for a week long stay. Staff is friendly and accessible and responsive to service requests. Fire pits and charcoal grills are available in the resort. We claimed a Weber at the beginning of our... More

We stayed at the Poudre River Resort this summer for a week. The resort is located on the river and there is enough distance between the cabins and road that noise isn't a problem. We were in cabin 12 for the first 2 days and found it nice, tho the bathroom was small. The rest of our time was spent... More
