We found this a quite place in the middle of eucalyptus trees from which it gets it name. We awoke to the sounds of birds not traffic - well worth the short drive into Willows. It is located between the Farm Sanctuary and Sacramento Wildlife Reserve: both worth visiting. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This motel is a great deal. We have stayed in many inexpensive places and they are often dumps, but the Blue Gum Motel exceeded all of our expectations. It was one of the most quiet stays I've had in a long time, and the place was very clean and very comfortable.
