Even though I showed up a day before my reservation, lack of planning, they couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating!! The room was quite large, very clean and we slept wonderfully. The Friendly Hills Motel lives up to its name..very helpful and accommodating owners:) It is an older motel that's basic,however it's very well maintained with a fridge and microwave. This is a classic family motel. As advertised, the room is newly renovated (our room looked exactly like the photo on their website - friendlyhillsinnwhittier.com), clean, comfortable and very inexpensive.
