This place is literally a 3 min walk to the boardwalk and maybe 10 to downtown. It is one of the cheaper decent hotels but Santa Cruz is a bit pricey! We stayed in a upstairs renovated queen room and loved it! Comfy bed and awesome double headed shower! No hot tub/pool but the beach is just seconds away!

If you want a closet size room, like sleeping inside a closet ok. If you have any luggage you can't even walk by the luggage , this room was dirty, small and icky. Went to this motel as the one across the road was full. Best decision we made as half the price and superb value for money. Staff extremely helpful and informative. Room was very spacious. TV not working so upgraded us without charge. Very clean. Close to pier and all local spots. Highly recommended

First time ever we have stayed at a motel and we were not dissapointed with Seaway Inn. The staff is very friendly and everything clean and the bed was comfortable. Isn't that all you really need? Breakfast was fine but coffee not good, everything else great.
